Ever since I was little, I had a love for music. So it only made sense I'd become a musician! I orginally started taking piano lessons when I was 8. I took lessons for about 4 years before deciding to stop. I had fallen out of music at the time, but as soon as I stopped lessons, I started playing for myself. Writing cheesy love songs, the kind a kid would write, playing late into the night. Thank god my dad's a heavy sleeper! When middle school came to an end I was given the oppurtiunity to go to a performing arts high school. I went to PiM for the first two years there and durring that time is when I picked up the bass. When I found the bass, I found love. I became obssessed with a band called the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I wanted to learn every single one of their basslines (I still haven't yet...) I applied to Perpich Center for Art Education later that summer. I didn't realize I had missed the deadline to apply, but a couple calls were made and I was able to submit my application! I go for my interview in August, and afterwards was accepted right on the spot! Now I am set to graduate in May, and I intend to do great things with my music.
One of my favorite activities is go to driving in my 1996 Honda Del Sol. Its a 5 speed manual, and so far I have changed the exhaust to give it a lower grumble, a new air in-take system to add some horse power, switched the shifter out for a dice, added leather seat covers, put in a new radio with car play, and added a 10 inch subwoofer in the trunk!
